On June 29th, we had the pleasure of hosting a successful workshop in collaboration with Studio Inscape at their beautifully designed, sustainable Pergola Pavilion in Museumpark, as part of Rotterdam Architecture Month. The event focused on the impact of women on green public spaces, gathering a vibrant community eager to share their vision.
Participants engaged in interactive activities and discussions, exploring the diverse needs and roles of women, plants, and animals in creating green public spaces. The session was filled with lively exchanges, hands-on exercises, and insightful conversations on the intersections of ethnicity, age, and lifestyle in urban design. Thanks to Studio Inscape‘s innovative workshop techniques, we made the connections between humans, plants, and animals visible. The insights gathered were invaluable, and we are excited to share them soon.
This workshop is part of a series/topic we are enthusiastic to continue, fostering ongoing conversations and actions towards a greener, more inclusive Rotterdam. Stay tuned for more updates and insights from this series.
Special thanks to Studio Inscape for their exceptional hosting and the use of their pavilion.
